I am installing all my equipment in my new stand and I was getting ready to put the base unit or brain in the stand when I noticed a slot for a power cord? which there isn't one in the box. Am i missing that or is there something else that plugs in here? here's a pic of what I'm talking about... Thank you

It will pull its power from the EB outlet units. you only need the adapter if you want to run it without the outlet units plugged in.

Its also possible to run the base unit on backup power with that. You do not need to use it so long as you use an EB8 or EB4 with it though
