I know you can put a lot of the differt fairy wrasses in a 29 and my wife really loves the color of this one and wonder if a 29 big enough or will he go crazy?

thanks

Actually, I would say that you could not keep any Fairy Wrasses in a 29 longterm. Instead, I would look into Possum Wrasses (Wetmorella) or Pink Streaked Wrasse (Pseudocheilinops ataenia). Sixline Wrasse would be another option, however these can cause their own problems from aggression.

I was hoping some might have success stories of keeping one in a 24-34 tank. As i tend to agree with my wife, its one of the best looking fairy wrasses out there. She not to found of the 2 you mention and its always good to keep the wife happy. Wife Aggro not a good thing lol

There are exceptions to the suggested minimum tank sizes, but in this case 29g is just too small, especially considering most 29g hold even less water than they say.

Tell your wife it's about more than pretty fish.
