Hello all

I'm shopping for a light for my new tank. In everyone's opinion would a single g3 light a 36x24x18? I want too keep everything including a decent amount of sps. Would a g3 pro make a significant difference over a standard g3 in lighting this tank? I am in between this or a AI Hydra 52. If it wasnt for the fact I want the tank to be super minimalist I would prob go t5. Thank you in advance for your replies!

personally i would do 2 if going with radions, 1 really isn't sufficient if your going to keep lots of sps IMO unless you keep them near the middle of the tank. you can always try 1 with the wide angle lens and see, if it isent you can get another fixture. i havent seen a 52 over a tank yet but ive got a friend that says 1 fixture covers his 36" end to end. he's not keeping sps tho

1 works great on my 58.

EuroGTI,

I would recommend using a single Generation 3 Radion with our Wide Angle Lenses.
