Hey people! I probably spelt photosynthetic wrong or it isn't even a word but I was just making some observations on my green mandarin and it seems to me that at night she loses a lot of color almost a pinkish looking and then when I wake up ( my tank usually gets any wear from 30 mins to an hour and a half of natural light but also during the day the green mandarin will have its full color and eating happily and waiting for me to feed her ( yes I have trained her but still have my own pod cultivating tanks just in case) but this lead me to think do you guys think that their skin carry a zooplankton and this is why they need to eat copepods? It a pretty crazy though and maybe they don't need copepods for their color but does anyone else think that this beautiful fish is somewhat at all photosynthetic just a bit?
