I have two Ocellaris clowns in my 34g. I'm thinking of adding to Yellowhead Jawfish. I have kept multiple jawfish in a 75 before, but will they co exist in a smaller tank?

A pr of yellow headed jawfish should be fine, or 1 yellowheaded and 1 small dusky would work too.

When they come back in season KP Aquatics sells pairs and juveniles. Just make sure your tank is setup for Jawfish, they are not gobies.

Do they have a website?

Here is an interesting article (http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-03/hcs3/).

Nice article. The part about adding the jawfish first has worked for me.
I attached pictures of my wife's old 40 gallon with Yellow Heads and My current 65 with my BS

The two tanks contained about 3 to 4" of substrate with shells and rubble laying around they build it up to around 6". I am sad to say my wife no longer has the 40 gallon.

I am so excited I am getting my BSJ on Friday. As he will go into QT for a few weeks I have some time to set up my 50 gallon to his preference. As the BSJ will dig how do I secure my LR? I will add enough aragonite sand to make my bed 5 inches everwhere... I have tons of pieces of broken pukani rock I can leave around... BUT how do I stop him from digging under my LR and knocking it over? My tank is fallow now.. but has 50 pounds of live rock in it that I just balance on each other. Even now my snails sometime knock it over?

suggestions on preparing my tank bottom? do I take my rock out and place it on top of the sand bed? Currently I think it is on the glass and the sand is mixed over it?

Leave the rock placed on the glass with the sand partially covering it. If you put the rock on the sand you risk it moving around.
