Pistol shrimp,

harmless, Doesn't look like a goby pairing shrimp. May bury plate corals and cause light weight rocks to collaspe from diggin under them like any pistol. I personally never had an issue with mine digging under my rocks.

Keep him. Or for viewing reasons as you'll more than likely never see it again, sump/setup another tank.

If you don't wanna set up another tank, just chuck him back in. You may not see him again, but if you're lucky you'll get to watch him dig tunnel-mansions. As long as you don't have any rocks that are balanced by their edges on the top of the sand, you're just fine. If you do, you should settle those in better anyway.

Get a long poky thing and wiggle it around in front of any suspicious holes or sand piles. If something clicks at you, you've found your pistol shrimp!
