Is this splitting?

Here is my frogspawn. It's mouth is always really open in the mornings when the lights turn in and sometimes some brown sting come out of it's mouth. I've assumed it was waste. But it also has thick green likes going across the whole mouth.

It is happy or isn't? Is the brown string normal? It doesn't seem to be upset or anything, it hasn't retracted or anything until it's night.

Yay good! that's what i thought! It has a little pattern... one tentacle or whatever you'd call it shrivels up near the mouth, the mouth gets wide, spits out a little brown ish waste then the mouth closes up and it that one puffs back up. it does it about once a day though which is weird! He is a picture of it a few days ago... I got it on Friday, it looks like a happy guy to me.

Just looks like a happy frogspawn to me :)
