So, this morning I woke up to my female clown dead on the floor :sad2: I've had the pair for almost a year, and have no clue why she decided to commit sushi-cide... anyway.
My question is, as far as getting a new partner for my poor little lonely male, should I try to find something rather large, that is probably already female? He's pretty small still (like 1.5" maybe less) and I think finding something notably smaller than him might be hard. I'm trying to avoid bringing a similar sized clown into the tank so the dominance scenario can get sorted out quickly.
Anyone know how long my male can be alone before he starts to turn female?
