Only condition is no LED. Was thinking about 8x54w but worried about the width.

Two of the large Hamilton pendants with 250 watt bulbs, add some LET retro T5's for supplements and dusk/dawn if wanted.

Not really keen on the Mitras LEDS and LEDS in general. Have no problem with bulb replacement, heat, power cost etc.

Hamilton is a sponsor here, and still one of the best places to get MH.

That may make it more interesting, but at least you know what to look for. The large Cozumel Sun fixtures are the type you want, these will cover your 36" depth (front to back).

Mh's or T-5s would both be great options, the 8 x 54 fixture would work just fine, you might have a bit of low light area 6 inches off the glass on the front and back.

If you want t-5s you could do 2 6x54 fixtures, one on the front half of the tank and one on the back half. it would spread the light out much better.

Maybe add a reef brite strip on front and back of 8 bulb fixture. Or a diy led.

I would go with 2x Lumenarc minis with 250 Radium SE's, powered by M80 ballasts AND 2x T5HO UVL Super Actinics. Awesome combination.

Go with two Hamilton Cayman Sun Pendants. They are high output reflectors and work good for SPS.
