I have the apex system and I want 4 float switches so I am guessing I need a breakout box.

I want to put 3 float switches in my sump and 1 in the reservoir.

Can this be done? All I need is a breakout box, pump and float switches?

Plus a cable to connect the breakout box to the apex connection. that you can purchase or make your own

don't you get a cable with the breakout box to connect to the apex

Yes you do but if you make your own breakout box then you need to make or buy a cable
