What size plumbing are you running for your return?

I'm running 1.5" from pump to a t that feeds a 3/4" manifold, then 2 1" id hoses to my Mocean returns. The output I get is nothing compared to the tunze pro silencer this pump replaced. I'm thinking I might be better off with 1" plumbing and then 3/4 after my tee for more pressure output.

I have a DC12000 arriving Friday. I am setup for it to go 1" to tee, then 3/4 for two returns. I'll let you know how it works out. It will be replacing a DC3000 so I'll have a pretty good "apples to apples" comparison

Thanks, I look forward to your results.

I run 1 inch to a tee then 3/4 the rest of the way. I am getting good flow to tank. Only on third setting.
