Hello,
I have a 140 gallon reef and currently run a SRO 3000 SSS. I just got a great deal on a 200 gallon used reef, stand etc., and am planning my upgrade. The stand on my new tank likely won't accommodate my SRO or at least will make servicing very difficult as it is 25 inches tall. I am looking for a shorter but still effective and powerful skimmer. Ideally, the skimmer would be approximately 20 to 22 inches tall. I have an ASM G2 as a backup but don't really want to use it as I don't think the performance is in the ballpark of my SRO. Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated. Some that come to mind are the Bubble King Mini 200 (ouch on price!) and the SkimZ Monster 161. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
