I leave the house at 7:15-730 and I like seeing my tank and feeding my fish in the AM. my photoperiod is 7am-11pm from 7-10 and 8-11 it 20% blue (radion pro). Recently I have been wanting to experiment with a shorter photo period, yet I still want to see the tank in the am (as well at night). Would it be "bad" having 5-10% moonlights blue leds from 6:30am-7:30am and then have the real photo period from 1pm to 11pm?
