I am in the process of building a 450g total water setup. The display will be a 225g with mainly sps.

There will also be a 60 gallon shallow setup for a frag tank (48x24x12). You can see it in this picture.

I would like to have the left side of the frag tank be just for bubble tip anemones and the right side of the frag tank be for regular frags. I was worried that the anemones might sting the other corals AND I dont want to have food left over from the anemones with the other frags.

To accomplish this I have put a barrier to separate the 2 sides. I also lowered the water level of the left side (anemone side) to just over 10 inches. The right side (frag side) will be around 11 inches deep.

Im going to put 2 Tunze 6025 with the frags and 1 6025 in with the Anemones. Will this be enough flow?

How do you think this will work? Can I add something to help with a Anemone only Frag tank?

Thanks
Ross

I think you should use the right side without the overflow for the anemones. You won't have to worry about one blocking your overflow and flooding the area.

I would use egg crate to separate the 2, also power heads and nems can be bad news if not setup correctly
