Just wondering what pump everyone is using and how it is set up. I have a digital aquatics rkl with float switches that will control it. I know alot of people use Tom's aqua lifter but I have heard they don't last very long. If I was to go with a maxi-jet or something similar how would I connect a line to the pump that will run into my sump. Thanks.

I use an aqua lifter.. Been using it for at least 4 years now without a single problem..
If you want a maxijet just attach tubing to the output and voila..

+1 for aqualifter, Mine has been running 3 years strong.
I know they do have a shorter lifespan if dosing Kalk though.

I was going through an aqua lifter about every 2 months. I finally gave in and bought the Tunze. I had a lot of issues with both the JBJ ATO and using the RKL ATO function. I haven't had one issue with the Tunze. Good luck.
