Hi all,

My tank is going into my theatre room.

Question is if interrupting the light (or turning off) during the movie so it's pitch black will have any effect on my tanks residents). I have done this with my cichlid tank to no I'll effect but now it's going reef I wondered if there will be any issues?

Also what is the best way about doing this as I don't want to looks the programming etc in the light or offset it by unplugging. Light is a ATI T5/LED combo unit.

My normal movie viewing is in the evening where it would be less of a issue, but every so often it's a lazy all day movie binge.

Thoughts?

Cheers

It is not a big deal to turn off the lights for a few days. Simply turn off the lights, make the move and start them back up.

Out in nature storms blow in all the time and cut the lights sometimes for days.
