Tank cycled... Ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 3...
The cuc will be added this weekend.
Should I do a 10% water change first? Am I missing anything ??

i would wait a week after the clean up crew is in there to do a water change. water currently isnt dirty if you just finished cycling...

Nitrates seem really low for a complete cycle. At what level did your ammonia peak? Or did you star with live rock? Just want to help you be sure you've had a robust cycle that can handle it when you start adding fish.

To answer your question...nitrates at 3ppm won't hurt anything. Like maddmaxx said, you can wait; plus a little nitrate will help feed the algae for the CUC to feed on.

Yes I did start with live rock that was very mature. Also live sand. Cycled for 8 weeks plus. Ammonia didn't spike high but tested all with a Red Sea kit yesterday.

If u have cured live rock that wasnt out of water for to long it wont take much for the bacteria to do its job from what i understand u should b ok

Thanks for the additional info. The LR was out of water for less than an hour. The rock is now teeming with crustacean larvae so the tank is supporting lots of life.
