Is it possible to have to much flow for my current and future fish ? Right now I have two young tank bred clowns. My tank is 24g. I have 2 Nano Hydors that run @ 425gph facing each other from the sides of the tank and I have a MJ 1200 as my main pump. The tank is an All in one Fluval m60. Right now the clowns seem to try and stay at the top of the tank and I can see when the hit the MJ return area they have to really get going to get through it. The clowns have only been in the tank for about six hours.

They should be just fine, maybe just getting used to the new home and new flow. I doubt if the fish store had any flow going inside their tank other than the return flow so its probably quite a difference for them. My two ocellaris clowns love getting up close to my Vortech MP10 when its operating at 80% power (~1200 gph) and letting the flow just propel them across my tank, pretty comical to watch. They struggle and struggle swimming directly into the MP10's flow pattern and than just turn around and fly across the tank the other way.

If they're not pinned against the glass, there is not too much flow.

They should be fine, as mine love the flow from my 5000lt wave maker. They do exactly what viktor said and it is so funny:)

Same here, they like riding the current with my WP25 at 75%

Don't worry, I had/have the same thing occurring with my clowns, I added them on Tuesday (5 days ago) they continue to hang out on the top of the tank in a back corner coming out to feed and occasionally to explore.

They can take some time to get used to a tank, I wouldn't worry about it to much :)
