needles missing from sedra 5000 impeller

At first I was looking into buying a new protein skimmer for my currently cycling reef tank. After a little thinking and question asking I came to the conclusion that I need to go ahead and keep my current ASM g3 protein skimmer. Why not it kicks butt!! So upon inspection of the pump a few days ago I saw that the sedra 5000 needle impeller was missing about 3 or 4 of the "needles". I was just wondering if this would have any impact that I would need to worry about down the line for my tank. Just incase, I ordered a replacement kit so that I can replace it if needed. So far even during a cycle this skimmer is pulling skimmate with no livestock. Thanks for any help in advance you all.

The biggest impact will be in having the impeller out of balance and spinning as good as it should. I would also agree with keeping the G3.
