Cadlights skimmer?

Does anyone have any expirence with the skimmers from cadlights. I'm thinking of ordering the 50 long package but don't know if the skimmer is worth it or not.

Do research I believe the skimmers are pretty cheap in comparison to many others

I've been looking and I see a lot of both ends of the spectrum people either love them or hate them

I have a CAD lights tia-1150 i believe came with my tank. It is tempermental some days but works great. I had to place pieces of pvc pipe under it to get it to the right depth.
