Species ID

I saw this fish at my local store & apparently they have no clue what it is. Wondering if anybody can identify it, as I'd like to research it a bit more. It's got a fairly small mouth & no sharp teeth, similar looking to a goby, so I'm guessing that it's not an eel. Any help in ID-ing it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Eelblenny or pipeblenny, I think. Something like that. Could be eelgoby/pipegoby, I can't remember. They're supposed to be kind of mean sometimes, but they're definitely worth some research.
