I decided to build a new burrow for my G. Ternatensis as I believe he has outgrown the one that I drilled into the rockwork in his tank. I wanted to build a similar burrow to the one I built in my O. Scyllarus tank which has worked quite well.
The main thing I wanted to do was to see if I could fully coat the PVC pipe using only aquarium safe silicone and aragonite substrate. Good news; it worked. I also used some water weld epoxy to build up the edges of the pipe, but I think you could achieve the same result with multiple coats of silicone and aragonite.
