I put this in the photography section but maybe should be here. It's video footage taken snorkeling in western province, Solomon Islands. A plankton bloom made for funky colours and poor visibility at times but we make the most with what we are given. Enjoy.

Cool, I am new fairly new to starting a saltwater tank, I thought about going down to the Florida keys and maybe go snorkeling, Since I am new I think it would be cool to see an actual reef.

Best is via live aboard. And don't forget to purchase one of the wood carvings . . . :love2:

Awesome! The visibility there is spectacular. I love the scene with the two file fish over the stag coral garden. Nicely fimed. Can you share both equipment and technique. I also make short snorkle videos and am anxious to learn.

Thanks for the kind comments. Everything was shot free diving with a Gopro Hero 3 mounted on a segment of my fishing spear.

An adult Ostracion cubicus - yellow boxfish. Would have liked to see some juveniles but didn't manage to do so.
