Here are a view pictures of my DIY auto top off system. If I could change anything it would be the DC power jack type, it wasn't the best choice due to the exterior ring becoming energized when the float switch is closed. it should be fine though. The relay could have been a SPST but Radio Shack didn't have any, that's where most of these parts are from. I'm still waiting on the float switches to show up. I hope ya'll enjoy!

nice build...i built basically the exact ato and incorporated a fail safe level sensor incase the main sensor sticks or fails so not to dump my fresh water 5 g resevoir in... Also a green led indicator when it's engaged and blue on/off toggle switch...it's been running for a year now flawless... Cost nothing to build like yours and gets the job done for under $25

I'm going to use two switches for safety reasons. I tested it without the float switches but I haven't got to actually use it yet, I hope mine does as well as yours!

i havent had the switch fail yet in a year its a cheap $5 switch but def need it for peace of mind and in case
