Upgrade Neptune Apex Base unit RAM, Proc, Rom

It is a long shot but does anyone on here know or seen a post where someone upgraded the hardware of the Neptune Apex base unit?

Since expanding my unit and upgrading to the latest firmware the system has what I believe to be a resource issue.

I guess I am thinking Processor, RAM and ROM.
