Hey all,
Received a new mag today, have acclimated and put it in my hospital/quarantine tank, have some cripo on standby but will give it 24/48hrs first to see if it needs treatment. Arrived a little deflated but has been filling up as the hours pass!
Anyway it arrived with a nice tight closed "pursed" mouth its relaxed a little and appears to have 2 mouths inside, the pics can probably explain that better than I can.
I've ever seen this in an anemone before this indication of a future split or possibly some healing wound?
Pics to follow!

Made a quick video on this one, has required cipro treatment but has made a huge improvement

Yours may split, as mags are known to naturally split. My mertens most likely will never split, it's been years with two mouths. It has more, but it's hard to get captured on a picture as the rest are too small to see in a picture. I've had it for years, with mouths, never turns into anything, just kind of a cool feature. It eats with both main mouths.

Look like siphonoglyphs rather than 2 mouths.

Well have it in the DT, both mouths do eat gave it some krill earlier, does look like it had recently split, has a pink scare line down its body and the oral plate is almost heart shaped! Seems healthy and happy anyway, it's moved directly under a 400w halide will be interesting to see it that affects the colour of the anemone, hardly see the clowns anymore!
