Is a 47g cube with 3w led enough to grow Sps/LPS?

Depends on what 3w leds/ how they are built into the fixture. If its just a few for light driven at low wattage then probably not. Most of the time though if 3w leds were used then it was with the intention of growing coral.

I'd say we'd need more information to give you an answer for your case.

It looks like a marineland led fixture.

I've seen these running frag tanks in person. Imo the color is on the bland side but it is powerful enough to grow softies-lps. I wouldn't do sps under that fixture.

All in all I wasn't impressed and wouldn't buy one.

That's where they bought all of it. They are asking 500$ just seems like a cheap light.

I'm new to led. What would I need to grow Sps in a 29-40 tank. Led or t5?
