I have a Hector's goby and a Rainford's goby in m tank (Koumansetta hectori and K. rainfordi). They haven't really paid much attention to eachother before but yesyerday I say the Hector's goby guarding a small burrow while the Rainfordi was excavating. Today I saw the Rainfordi out and about but couldn't see the Hector's anywhere. Then I thought about shining a light into the cave and yes, there it was, guarding a sack of eggs.

So, can I then tell the sex of the Hector's and is there any chance of the eggs being fertilized? Anyone heard of hybrids of these species?
