Hi, so I have a 82G 1/2 inch thick starphire glass tank. I am trying to cover it with the BRS 1/4 net screen top but I ran into the problem of how am I going to get it to securely sit on my tank. I googled for ideas and came up with the clear tank clips but the biggest I have found was 12mm and my glass is closer to 13mm so that won't work. All ideas much appreciated.

Is there any chance the 12mm clip would work, http://www.amazon.com/Aquarium-Glass-Acrylic-Support-Holder/dp/B00H365CPC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_petsupplies_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0J8YJA4XX0HRK1DQSD49?

I just used a thin strip of Velcro about one inch long on three sides. Works fine.

That might work, do you think my overflow will cause any problems on setting it up?

This is what I did, screen fits inside tank and it is held by acrylic tabs glued to frame. Later I modified it and instead two I glued four tabs on all corners. Can't even tell frame is there from a distance.

Depends, can't tell from the pic, are the durso & return arms above the rim? If so them it may not work. If they are below the rim then it should work. Pics of mine:
