My tank has recently finished it's cycle and I have a artificial reef insert and am wanting to start adding some live rock for corals. Will I ha e to use live rock or will the corals take to the
Artificial insert

Well first off you should have started your cycle with live rock, you put live rock in there now, you will probably have a mini cycle so do put anything in there until you know all your parameters are good

Most of the corals that would take to the insert would be pesty type corals. Star polyps for sure, maybe some mushrooms. Aptasia will definitely grow, don't want that, maybe some leathers and or other softies might take to it but live rock is probably your best bet.
