What is this?

Just looked in my tank when the lights came on and saw this thing that was not there the night before and no idea what it is or how it got there. Anyone??

It almost looks like a small branch that got caught up in the rocks. How does it feel to the touch?

I haven't gotten in there and touched it yet but it does bend a little to the flow of the water so it isn't totally solid. All this rock was all bought at once and was cleaned multiple times before I put it in the water and it's been running about six months now.

LOL. I know this may sound dumb. But the first time I saw something like that, I thought the same thing but then realized afterward that it was a sliver of wood that had come from the edge of my canopy where it gets wet.

Well it seems to have moved to the other side of the tank. Looks like an urchin spine or something like that. Really not sure how it got in there considering I have never had an urchin or anything like one in this tank so it's a mystery.
