Hi,

I bought a few fish from another hobbyist and I believe the fish has fluke. The purple tang is twitching and I noticed that it has a scratch like thingy just beside its fins. My blue tang that came from him also is twicthing but there are no visible signs of parasites. I will not be able to catch all my fish in the tank because I have about 15 in there and more than half are very small. This tank only has Live rock and Live sand. I also have about 30 snails and two shrimps. I heard prazipro is reef safe. I will buy prazipro and dose it in the DT. Also, I will be adding corals in this tank in the future as well. Can anyone give me advice and let me know what to look for? This is my first time treating flukes. Tank is 160 gallons.

Should I shut off my protein skimmer while treating as well?

Yes, turn off your skimmer. Monitor your ammonia as any die off may cause a spike. Be sure to keep the water aerated.
