Hello, I need some information about my coral. I think it is a toadstool coral but I am not sure. It was given to me as a gift from a friend about 2 months ago. This was my very first coral and it has been doing great. Polyps are extending and it seems really happy. A few days ago I noticed a small white spot but it's grown a little daily. It still seems healthy and polyps are fully extending still except for the edge where the white area is. Do I have cause for concern? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Current water info is below.

the tank has 2 clown fish, 1 emerald crab, 2 Diamond watchman gobies, 1 fire shrimp, and 1 Banded Coral Shrimp. Do you think one of these is eating eat? I was told that they are all safe when purchasing.

I doubt that it's the shrimp. Do you have any other corals in your tank?

Yes I do, I have a few other corals. They are all doing fine.

Did it fall onto another coral or was it in a spot where it could have been stung by a coral?

No. It's always been in the same spot with no other corals around it. It's attached to the live rock so it can't fall off.

Hi guys,

It's my first post :)
I have a similar enquiry, I have some coral, finger coral I think and it it has been droopy over the last few days.
All my levels seem fine. Salt was a little high at 1.027 so it's been lowered since. Currently on 1.021. I have attached a picture of the before and after.
Hoping someone could give me an insight.
