I know there are hundreds of threads and I could read them all day not find my exact bulb combo.

Long story short I got tired of dealing with my DIY LEDs as I am not a DIY guy as much as I want to be. I purchased an ATI SunPower 6x80 tonight. I got 3x blue plus, 2 coral plus and 1 purple from reefgeek and I'm trying to figure out the best bulb setup in the fixture.

Here's what I'm thinking:
B+
P
C+
B+
C+
B+

What do you think?

Also, high far above the tank should this fixture mounted? I have a mixed reef and I am easing into a lot more SPS

I would skip the purple, C+ has enough red spectrum, put another B+ instead, I keep my ATI fixture about 8 in. above the water.

I run the same combo, with the P one slot farther down. See alot of people running what mark said as well, or 3B+ and 3C+ seems to be a good combo.

10" above water

this combo is an icy white 12-14k, where if you were to do 4b+ and 2 c+, expect a nice icy blue 18k :)

Nothing wrong with that combo if you like the look. If not I would get rid of purple and do 4 blue 2 coral. Run the coral plus bulbs in positions 2-5 depending which channel you want them on. I run my fixture 10 inches above tank but 7-8 inches is good. I had to raise mine up a couple inches because its alot of light.
