Has anyone used a monocular for viewing their tank? If so, how did it work out?
I just ordered a cheapo on Amazon for $16.00 with free s & h. Its worth the try I guess.

I have a couple of tiny things growing from the rocks and can't see them too good. This unit is supposed to be able to focus down to 10 in. If it don't work, i"ll give it to the girl friend to view birds. LOL

This (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2341459&highlight=monocular) was the only place I've seen on here about using one, but from what is said, it should be fine for viewing.
