Funky Green Fuzzy Algae

Got this on the right side of my tank, no idea what it is or how to get rid of it. The algae doesn't blow off with a turkey baster and my clean up crew doesn't seem to be going after it. I'll see if I can get a picture tomorrow or send one to someone to post.

I went through a Nast bloom of some green fuzz algae. Sounds similar to what I has. I just started scrubbing in the tank and jacked up the vortech. It is about 90% gone. I was contemplating getting a tang. I have always had one, and never had HA....

That looks like Chrysophytes, a silicate based algae. Should go away on its own.

That looks crazy Ive never seen anything like that. If it is silicate based you might want to check your source water.

Spectrapure unit, sediment prefilter, two carbon filters, two RO membranes and four DI containers. Zero TDS after RO membrane and green light on conductivity meter. But, I suppose I should test for silicates:) Appreciate the advice.
