Hi,

I have a 125g DT and about a 30g sump. The sump is divided up with baffles. It is a mixed reef. I have about 10 small fish in the DT. I use filter socks and GFO. I dedicated a good portion of it to be a refugium with mud, sand, mangroves, chaeto and live rock. The other portion houses my Tunze DOC 9010 skimmer. That portion is about 7" x 11". The water in the sump rises to about 11". The skimmer works well but I think I could get something that pulls a little more crap out of the water. What would you guys recommend for a small area?

RLSS R6i is what I use. It has the pump inside the body so it's pretty small.

Diablo 160xs awesome skimmer and small footprint, but most of these skimmers are not designed for 11 inches of water. You might have to put it up on something.
