Hi all tank is almost 2 months old... Is this cyano or diatoms? Thanks for your help :) what will make it go away?

It looks more like diatoms. Increased water flow and lowering the nutrients in the tank will help. Diatom blooms are a normal part a tank maturing, to some extent they go away on their own.

Looks like diatoms. Hermit crabs will help also...

I recently used chemi clean for cyano.. Should i use it for diatoms as well?

No just regular water changes and it will go away on its own.

When you do a water change just just try to suck up the diatoms

My 120 has been running for about 6 weeks and my sand looked just like yours did up until 2 days ago when it cleared up. I stocked it last week with cycled live rock and a powerhead, which seemed to speed up the cycle and cleared the diatoms within a few days.
