So i have a few different colonies of zoas. My blue hornets would hardly open, the heads were small and haven't seen them grow in the month they have been in there. This could be entirely coincidental but i tried target feeding my zoas with Dr. Gs brine shrimp eggs. I have been doing this twice a week for 3 weeks. Results:
Blue hornet +3 polyps and double the size of about half the heads
Rasta +6 polyps and same with head size
Fire & Ice +4 Polyps (they have only been in 2 weeks)

Does anyone else do this and see similar results?

Hard to say one way or the other in concrete terms but it does appear mine grow better and have better color when fed. I use rotifer and plankton(phyto and zoo) to feed zoas with and they seem to react well to that. Obviously the right light and flow are the other huge factors.

Yes I did notice the color being significantly better on the hornets

yep, when mine open back up after eating the color seems extremely bright, especially on the sunny D's and RPE.

I agree. Little brighter after feeding.
