Coming back into the hobby, I went with LEDs for my lighting. They worked great, but I just miss the look of MH. I’m leaving the LED world and going back to MH/T5’s. Please don’t judge me. LOL

Here is what I need. I will be without lighting for a couple days and the lighting will be here Wednesday. I have a All Glass 90 gal reef ready with no canopy. I need some ideas for a simple canopy/hanger that can be thrown together quickly so I can get light back on my SPS.

Here is what I have:
2 -250 watt metal halides with lumenarc reflectors
2- Single T5 bulbs with reflectors

Oh, I’m not a very handy kind of guy. I will probably have a canopy built, but I need to get the lights back on my coral as easy and quickly as possible. Thanks!

You might try regular shelf squares for quick remedy. Once you get the canopy up the holes will be covered. Just be sure to use drywall anchors so your fixture does not end up in your tank making fried fish sticks....like this?

You could also go through the ceiling too with an eye screw and a drywall anchor.
