Ok- Happy news- I just got my first clam and 4 other corals for mother's day.

Bad news- I asked my Hubby to get superglue, and he came back with Scotch Max Strength Adhesive. I looked at it, but I totally SCREWED UP. Once I tried to use it to mount my new red monti, I realized the consistency was off. The stuff WENT ALL OVER THE TANK.

I screamed, I won't lie. Then I used my hands to get as much of the stuff out of the water as I could.

Ingredients:
Methyl Ethyl Ketone
Acetone

So my question is- Am I going to wake up to a dead tank? Things look ok right now, and I'm about to start mixing up water for a change... Anyone have any advice other than to look before I do something like that?

You will be fine. Don't use it anymore.
Its the same glue used to bond acrylics. If worried you can use some carbon. Its got great removal properties for Methyl Ethyl Ketone.

I find the loctite brand super glue gel works great.
