never had luck with spathulata. i have tried them 4 different times and they all end up stn on me. anyone know the secret to keeping them longterm?

Me neither Wes. I've tried 3. From what I've heard from multiple friends is that they are extremely poor shippers :(

You two SPS guru not able to keep spathulata alive ... maybe your water to clean, you need more fish poop. :hmm5:

Had my assuie for about 6-8 months now. Lost its color but its slowly coming back again. Hopefully it will color to what it once was.

Whats the conditions you keep yours in lou? I just picked one up and have heard their found in shallow tidal areas - so was gonna shoot high light n blast with flow.

Mine sits near the top with med flow. 6" from tip to top of water.

Lol, I think this species is hyper sensitive to alk fluctuations. That is how I lost my pieces.
