I just received my Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro test kit yesterday to be used on my 2 month old 60 cube. Here are the results:

Ca 450 ppm
Alk 7.7 dKH
Mg 1440 ppm

It looks like the Alk is a little low. Any advice on if I should bring it up and how to bring it up would be appreciated. I only have a few SPS and LPS frags in the tank.

Other tests
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 2
Phosphate 0
Salinity 1.025

Thanks.

There are a variety of options to bring it up; are you currently dosing? If so, what?

Your best bet would probably be either dosing or topping off with kalk (waits for others to chime in).

Another options is a Calcium Reactor, but you only have a few sps and lps so that's kind of overkill right now.

The tank is pretty new and I am not dosing yet. I am thinking about getting the BRS 2 part system with the dosing pumps.

The two part system is a fine way to go, but you may need little or none just yet. 7.7 dKH is fine. :)
