So I just got a new sump a couple weeks ago. And it's time for a new skimmer. I have a 90 gallon mixed reef tank. About 1 year old. Was wondering what you guys use as a skimmer. I do have room in the sump. So that's not a problem at all.

Depends on budget man. List your budget and specs like footprint availability in the sum and such

Alright. Probably around 400-450 and I have room for 15x15 inch area with just a sock in the same chamber.

I can tell you right now I have had Reef Octopus Diablo 160xs in my 90 for almost a year and half. And I was lucky if I had to empty the cup once every 3 or months. Just replaced it with a Bubble Magus Curve 5 and I have to empty it weekly. Some say go more than you need, but then to me they just don't skim right. I don't know the Curve 5 is rated 140 gallon and it works killer. So you will get many suggestions that makes it hard. A lot of people love the new Aquamaxx Cone 1 as well
