Broken skimmer

Sigh...The movers broke my skimmer. Now I need a new one. Brand suggestions? Tank is 75g. I tend to buy things from the 'best value' mindset - I don't need top of the line, but I'll pay a bit more to get Makita tools over Black and Decker......

Wow. So here's another question: the fish tank used to sit squarely on the stand. Looking across the room at it - the is 1/8 of an inch of gap between the tank and the stand on one corner. I can't fill it like that - is it more likely to be the stand or the tank with the issue? NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!!!

Sounds like the stand got muscled by the moving crew. If your stand is level on the floor, and you have that gap........it's time to use a styrofoam sheet between the tank and stand. That will absorb any differences like that 1/8" and take away any pressure points.

I've heard the SCA-302 can be had for around $130 if you email them looking for "blems".
