Hi,

Need your help to id this specimen. It is listed as a purple-blue Acropora formosa staghorn but I'm not sure about that.

Thanks

A. formosa is a stag type of Acropora. What you have there seems to be growing in a cluster so far. But it's really to early to say unless you have pictures of the mother colony.

Thanks,

At that size it doesn't have the staghorn shape, but at 15$ for a colored 1.5-2 inches frag it doesn't matter if the identification is wrong for now, I'm gonna let it grow and post later this year (I hope it's a fast grower)for an other id attempt. I just like it when I can identifie all my Sps. I could possibly get a picture of the mother colony.
