sps pink coral turned half brown

Picked up a sps pink coral this weekend . And after moving it around/falling a lil it turned half brown. Its now been 24hrs and still brown. How long might it take to recover?

Its not going to recover that's RTN Rapid tissue necrosis. Your only option is to frag off the branches above the tissue recession.

Well csn I frag it onxe it gets larger even if its all brown? Then will it still turn pink?

If you wait the dead tissue will continue up the coral until it's completely dead. You have a chance to save it but it will require you to frag off the healthy pieces.
