Two idiots walked into a Petco...

I decided to see if a new Petco near me was a good one, (turns out it is! Besides for what comes next) and I bought a nassarius snail, margarita snail (my water is at 78, he should be fine) cerith snail, and astarea snail for my 40B. Turns out the cerith snail was a, well, shell. Only a shell LOL

I mentioned to the woman helping me that she should double check the one she chose, because I noticed a few hermits in the tank. Turns out she didn't! :facepalm:

Did you find it before leaving? I think this falls on you as they might not know what they're looking at.

No, unfortunately I noticed right after acclimation :facepalm:

I'm gonna call tonight and see if they can do anything about it, fingers crossed!

I have had a person unknowingly try and sell me an empty hermit shell. I was lucky enough to see it before bagging.
