My tank is all set up, 215 gal. Got all my powerheads, protein skimmer, live rock, etc. tank has been in the making for a year and is ready to add livestock, I just completed a combination of my sump with another to add more accessories when needed, removed bioballs four months ago etc.

Only issue is what lighting to go for? Previously my tank was run like crap (somebody else had it) and used 6700 lighting - which is an ugly yellow tint. I have my blue lights already, just going to upgrade my daytime. My question is - what is best to have on for my 7-8 hours?

Is the 10,000 whites too high? Would 4 of the 10,000/460nm be too blue? The power compact bulbs are two bulbs at 34 inches, which in total I will be running 4 power compact bulbs (8lights). Any input would be greatly appreciated since this is the final piece of my setup.

Thanks guys.

Also forgot to include stock will contain fish and corals, going to easy to moderate care livestock - any info with which lights will help
