I bought one of the new RO nwb super space saver protein skimmers and so far have been regretting not spending a little extra(wanted the swc 160). I have been struggling quite a bit just getting it tuned in. I had very nice jet black skimmate for a bout a week period but prior to that and since it's really given me trouble. There's only one control and that's a wedge valve controlling the output so I thought this skimmer would be pretty hands off but instead has been quite finicky. Also I've had no success getting any dry skimming when I had it working it's best it was only pulling wet(I do prefer wet most of the time so nbd really). I'm wondering if anybody else is using this skimmer and had some tips as I haven't found any helpful videos or discussions on this exact unit and optimal operation.
